my violin grade 8 exam over liao... so relaxed... but remember some "horrifying" moments...

1st piece: vivaldi spring 1st movement... everything went qutie well... until the air-con blew away my score and i had to depend on my memory to finish the piece... 2nd piece: kreisler liebesfreud... not much confidence on the double stoppings... 3rd piece: kabalevsky improvisation... mroe satisfied with this one, though accuracy may be a problem...

scales & appregios: the examiner gave me at least 15 in total!!! first time got so many scales and i had to squeeze my brain to remember them... sight reading was a disaster... 5 flats... man, i feel like shit... aural: i don't really think i did a good job, coz i always suck at this section...

enough of my violin exam, making me horrible... at least something much more better happening in school... got back to school right on the start of 1st recess... then saw some stuff on my table from the lessons before the recess... no. 1: chinese test, front page full marks, while the back sux, but still got a1... no. 2: ihc test, 1st question lack 1 more mark, 2nd question only deduct 3 marks... i was wondering, today so good arh, so many good things happening to me, except for the 5-flat sight reading... later physics prac, spa4 assessment, don't really get the results quite accurately and i dunno what i'm writing for the report... but at least something better than that after the assessment... got back physics test a1...

physics now i get a2, coz my previous test sux... chem a1, maths a2 coz my term test screwed up... chinese should be around a1 or a2 coz the tests were quite alright... ih should be able to get a1 or a2 depending on the geog results, which i do not have really high hopes coz i did not finish the last question... bio got b3, not bad coz that week was disastrous coz there were so many things such as the school syf performance and cluster performance... the only i worry (a lot) is english, though my blog is in english, my english can't get any better......

got to pray hard...

ssf (singapore fireworks festival) and the ndp carnival @ marina ended on 14 aug... it ended with a fireworks display by a french pyrotechnic team... the fireworks were amazing and managed to capture some pics, though there was an idiotic person who held up his tripod stand so high up and entered into my shots... had to wear ear-plugs (got them from saf open house last year) coz i get adrenline boosts upon hearing exploding noises... some of the fireworks were very dim and could not well-captured on the camera... probably will upload the sff pics from 8 aug, 9 aug and 14 aug by tmr coz i'm more free then...

4 more days before the annual camp at hainan (china), somehow excited coz i'm going overseas again... somehow unexcited coz the weather is the same as singapore and i'm going to hate it... almost finished packing except for toiletries and some clothing... really looking forward to the camp coz can go sight-seeing again and go to the schools in hainan... one thing which bothers me other than the weather is valuair... budget airline to get to hainan where the plane is specially booked... by the look of the flight number can tell that it's specially booked... need to pay for food on board the plane and the only thing that one can do is to stare at the person next to you or at the ceiling or at the floor or at yourself...

whatever... as long as i enjoy the camp when i dislike the climate...
